Why Must Read Cases and Materials on Criminal Law (American Casebook Series)?

I pity you if this is the book you're stuck with for crim. Dressler basically spends the whole book citing himself and doesn't explain anything in the casebook. The textbook is written so poorly that you're basically forced into buying his supplements. If you have to use this book I can't reccomend enough getting "Understanding Crim" by Dressler which is basically the teacher's edition to this book.
