If I could give it less than one star, I would This book is AWFUL! She is way more interested in “being woke” than “unsolved crimes”. Don’t waste your time. Uses John Douglas’ book “Monster Across the Table” as a PROOF source!? She writes as she talks-stream of consciousness...full of snarky, sarcastic comments. Not sure how she’s a “journalist”?!?! Book is mostly opinion...very low on facts...wanted to give “her voice” to the cases...totally unnecessary...listened to author interview-blamed her coverage of same ole boring cases on publisher!?! Seriously?! Also said only reason why “Black Dahlia”, Jon Benet & Natalie Halloway got attention they did was because they were “pretty white girls”....then bemoaned the fact she didn’t cover any people of cover in her book!!!! What a poser....said she should have done “more Research to cover people of color cases”?!?! I can name 10 off the top of my head!!! So “woke”, yet so Uninformed. Want my money back.
