Why Must Read Brain Games - Sticker by Number: Nature - 2 Books in 1 (42 Images to Sticker)?

First of all, I have bought quite a few of these Brain Game print by number sticker books. They are generally well made, the spiral spine makes it easy to work with, most of the pictures are really beautiful and intricate. Also these books were very therapeutic while I recovered from surgery. That being said, this particular book was a disappointment. First of all, I noticed several of the pages of the stickers were not in order (pages 11-12 found between pages 35-36, etc.). This is a spiral bound book - how do you get pages out of order? And it wasn't just a couple - more like 6 or 7 pages in the wrong places. Secondly, the stickers are considerably thinner than in other books I've bought and they are not properly scored making it hard to peel off without tearing. This is a big deal because this book has a lot of small intricate pieces which is why I bought it in the first place - for the challenge. Fine - I used tweezers and patience = more of a challenge. What really annoyed me was that a lot of the pieces were cut too small for the numbered spaces they were assigned. That meant that no matter how carefully you positioned the sticker, it would never fill that space. Again, I'm not sure how that happened - perhaps factory error, but it really takes away from the beauty of the picture. Because I've bought several of this brand of paint by sticker books, it was easy to compare the quality of this book with some of the earlier books. The pages in this book are definitely thinner, the stickers are not scored completely, and the sizing of the stickers is not accurate. I really enjoy these books and I hope that this is a fluke and that the manufacturer/publisher is not cutting corners in the newer editions. Also, while some of the books state "Ages 7+" I think the intricate designs in this book and the small thin stickers would be a challenge for anyone under the age of 10.
