Why Must Read Brain Games - Sticker by Number: America (28 Images to Sticker)?

Making these paper mosaics is more fun and relaxing than I would have thought. I pre-ordered this America-themed book, and I'm happy I did. It's good stuff. While Sticker-By-Number: Bible was basically perfect, this book has two little issues. For one thing the numbered shapes tend to have sharp corners while the stickers may have... *rounded* corners. This leaves empty spaces. Hm. Sometimes it also seems as if the stickers just don't plain don't entirely fit no matter what, but I can't be sure whether I'm just not placing the stickers carefully enough or not, so we'll set that aside. The rounded corners, however, are fact. It's not a huge problem, fortunately. The other thing is a minor gripe. The "America" theme is rather loosely applied. I mean, I'm *pretty* sure you can get a cup of coffee/hot tea in a lot of countries. : P Hot-air ballooning was invented in Paris. Some of the images are just that generic. Not that I'm saying they should have splashed the stars and stripes all over everything, or given us 36 Views of Mt. Rushmore. Just saying that if you're looking to fill your heart with patriotic spirit shortly before July 4th, not all the images here will help you with that. But it's another great Sticker-By-Number release, which is why I give it 4 stars, and I look forward to collecting more!
