Download NowI was so excited to order this book! Upon opening I loved the textbook feel, and layout. As I flipped through, I was very impressed with the detail and amount of research that went into it. I had no idea what would happen as I flipped to the end. I read the legacy synopsis of our previous presidents and was floored to see how Barack Obama was portrayed! This sounded like some kind of joke. Did trump pay you to write this? I’m offended! It’s real apparent that the authors viewed Obama as a dismal failure. Wait! No mention of the messes he cleaned up from the Bush era. No mention that when he left office the economy was booming. Whoa! You listed every scandal, and negative, but not one achievement. I was appalled. Yes, he sent his kids to private schools. So.... he’s a sell out? He didn’t do ENOUGH? Not one word about how Mitch MCconnell VOWED to make him a one term president! How, no matter what he did, he was blocked, barricaded, and stifled by the Republican Congress. It was a modern version of lynching... They would “TEACH HIM” just how much he was hated by whites. And, they did. They hobbled him at every turn. Enter trump. The very special genius. Supporters praised for marching in the streets wearing nazi regalia, toting guns and torches, and screaming for white dominance. I can’t believe that there’s not one word mentioned about the lies, scandals, and deceit created by, and implemented by our 45th president. Before 2019! Several of his cabinet had been fired, resigned, or, were in prison by 2019. You appear to be biased and I can’t put my head around it. Your praise and admiration for a criminal president ruined this otherwise awesome book. This book needs to be abridged immediately. I really don’t want this copy. I want a book that has the truth. 45 from the onset of his campaign was a despicable bully. No real history book can look at 45 between 2015 and 2019, and just mention his awesome economic achievements! He caused chaos day after day. And now he’s gone! Disgraced, and humiliated by his own ignorant demise... This book deserves to be honest till the end. Until this is addressed and a new printing done, this can’t be the teaching tool I wanted it to be.
