Why Must Read Paint by Sticker: Music Icons: Re-create 10 Classic Photographs One Sticker at a Time!?

This is the first Paint by Sticker book I've tried, and I've since found that I thoroughly enjoy this activity; very relaxing and the results can be quite gratifying. The appeal of the Music Icon theme (which includes some of my personal favorites such as David Bowie, MJ, the Beatles, etc.) is ultimately what drew me to this particular book over some of the others currently available. While I love the overall theme and myriad sticker shapes and colors, I should mention a few caveats: Some of the stickers are REALLY small, can be difficult to remove cleanly, and don't always fit properly. I completed the Michael Jackson picture first, and wound up with copious amounts of white gaps. Having never done a Paint by Sticker before, I assumed this was normal, or a byproduct of my inexperience with these. However, I think the Beatles picture turned out wonderfully, so I think it can be pretty hit-or-miss. At first I thought that maybe I just needed to practice better/steadier application, but after having done about 7 of the pictures now, I'm finding that there isn't much consistency; some turn out well, others turn out, well, not-so-well. This has held true with other books in the series as well. Just be prepared. If you're more about the process rather than having a polished end result, then I'd definitely recommend this book as well as the others in the series. If you're like me and polished Paint by Stickers are more your thing, the Animetrics/Geometrics series is great, and much more forgiving.
