Why Must Read New York Notary Public Exam Speed-Study Guide!?

I'll be honest, I haven't read much of the book. I bought it for the practice tests but some answers in here are flat out wrong. I've only done the first practice test and I'm literally looking at the "schedule of fees" from the April 2019 code (the most recent): Question 4: answer is $1 (not a choice) not $2 (D) Question 16: poorly worded. A notary can most certainly practice law in certain situations if he IS a lawyer, which notaries can be. Question 29: answer is $1 which would be D, none of the above, not $5 (C) as book states Question 30: answer is B or $3, not $4 (C) Again for questions 4, 29 and 30 I'm literally looking at the schedule of fees. See picture. Not sure I'm going to take the second test. But also, not sure I can trust the answers I even got "correct" according to the text.
