Download NowThe usefulness of this book depends entirely on the reader's legal experience. If you are thinking about law school, are a first year student, or have no experience in moot court/ mock trial, I can see it being very beneficial, because it lays out basic principles cogently. However, you are anything more than a second-year law student, this book is a bit of a waste of money. The content in the book is basically covered in first year civil procedure, or any basic moot court class you will have done. There is little added insight from a rhetorical perspective. I wouldn't buy it again for myself, but I would give it to a high school debater who is thinking about law as a potential career path.
