Download NowFirst I would like to say, I passed my salesperson exam on the very first try and I felt like this book is the reason why I did. But I'm giving this book 3 out of 5 stars because of how it is presented, the sometimes poorly written practice tests and the non explanations of answers. The chapters are presented as each title says it is. And it is laid out to were it shows you what brokers/salespersons need to study and what appraisers should study. Just read the introduction. The readings were comprehendible. At some points I didn't quite understand but just read it again and I understood. When you reach the end of a chapter, there is a practice test. Some of the questions were hard to understand. I felt a few of them, the grammar was off and slang was used in the wording. Some other questions seemed like they had the wrong "correct" answers as compared to what I read in the chapter. I wish there was an explanation of the correct answer so I could see why this was the "correct" answer. The fact I had to double check answers made it confusing, which did not help me learn so I had to turn to other books and online material. Also, on some of the practice tests, you encounter questions from chapters you haven't read yet or questions that are not even presented in the study material. It's like they wanted to throw in random questions as filler. BUT I honestly feel that this book explained most of the material to where I was able to understand and grasp the information and PASS my exam on the 1st attempt. It was a lot better than my real estate courses I had taken. Confusing? Kind of. I just can't recommend this book 100%. I recommend it with caution. You will have to use other study material to back up answers and subjects in order to use this book. Which is very unnecessary and therefore the low score.
