It is a good source for many questions you might have, although somewhat repetitious. For us, we didn't get answers to our questions about asset-funded long-term care policies. An agent has been trying to sell us this newer option. We are in our 70s and never contributed to a LTC policy when rates were tolerable. Now with encroaching health issues, we find the examples and issues around LTC products in this book don't really work for us. Should we take money from our 401K to buy an annuity to fund LTC? This is a rapidly-changing area as the population ages. Retirement communities also now offer packages to help with the move, getting rid of possessions, and selling your house. Hard to sort out all the options objectively.
