Download NowIf you're looking for a book to help study for your CFEI or CFI exams, or just good reference material, Fire Investigator: Principles and Practice to NFPA 921 and 1033 is a must-have. The book provides the reader with information from NFPA 921 and 1033 and then breaks it down with real-world scenarios and lamens terms for the non-fire investigator to understand as well. I took away one star because of Jones and Barlett's rude customer service & the uselessness of the online "Navigate 2 Access". The end of each chapter features multiple-choice questions that test knowledge learned from the chapter but in order for you to find the answer key, use must check Navigate 2, HOWEVER, if you are not enrolled in a course with an instructor, you still cannot find the answers. When i asked JB about this, I was told the equivalent of "oh well" and then after sending two follow up emails, still haven't received a reply.
