Why Must Read Flower Color Guide?
I ordered this book hoping I could use it as a reference to draw and paint flowers instead of having to look for such flowers on the internet. Based on the book’s description and customer reviews I honestly thought I was going to love it, unfortunately once I saw the content I was very disappointed. A lot of the pictures are very small making it impossible to see the shape of the flower, and absolutely no detail. Another issue is the lack of flower variety. Yes, there are lots of flowers but they are the same flower just in different colors, and there are no pictures of common tropical flowers whatsoever, for example Bird of Paradise or Passion flowers. The book also comes with a few perforated sheets of the same pictures in the book but super small. They serve no purpose. I’ve attached pictures. I purchased this book a couple of months ago for $17.99 and thought it was expensive considering it’s a small simple book, but now the book is selling for $35! Crazy! Knowing what I now know about this book, I wouldn’t pay mor than $8 for it. I’ve asked myself if I would recommend this book, and my honest response is that in good faith, I wouldn’t. I think you can get more and better information on-line if you own a computer or smart phone with internet access. I have found a plethora of flower pictures on Pinterest.
