Why Must Read The Good Egg Presents: The Great Eggscape! (The Food Group)?
This isn't a full length book like the two that preceded it. It's a short story without much plot or message. The included stickers don't make up for that. Perhaps most disappointing is that Pete Oswald, the illustrator of the prior books, illustrated only the cover of this one. Only when you turn to the title page do you see the listed illustrator for the rest of the book. I felt like I'd been suckered into a cash grab. This is the only time I've ever been annoyed enough with an Amazon book to go through the effort of returning it. :(
